National Action Plans on LGBTIQ Equality: How do they contribute to equality in the EU?

You are cordially invited to the cross-party event organised by MEPs Malin Björk, Pierre Karleskind and Maria Walsh for the occasion of IDAHOBIT 2022.
May 17 is the internationally recognised International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Interphobia (IDAHOBIT). For this year’s occasion, and ahead of the official publication of the European Commission’s Guidelines on National Action Plans and Strategies for LGBTIQ Equality, the MEPs will look at how these can have impact in the European level.
This roundtable will count on the presence of CSOs working in the field, MEPs, the co-chair of the European Governmental LGBTI Focal Point Network, a representative from the French government and a video message by the Commissioner for Equality, Helena Dalli.
