The Intergroup on LGBTIQ+ rights is an informal group of Members of the European Parliament who wish to advance and protect the fundamental rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people. Members of the Intergroup take a positive stance on LGBTIQ+ issues when they draft reports or amendments, vote in committees or in the plenary, or when they deal with constituency affairs.
